Hi Everyone. I'm selling my C280 Elegance. T-Reg (registered June 1999). 209K miles. I bought it with 150K and it has since been serviced and cared for by my Merc specialist in Reading. The V6 starts every time and the interior is a well-looked-after full black leather with a rare glass sunroof option. I am only selling it because of ULEZ and I cannot use it as my daily drive - so it has not been driven for sometime. Im now in a boring EV. This has been the 4th Merc in my stable over the years.
MoT passed with some advisories so these will need to be addressed before the next one in March 2025.
Open to offers. Please direct message me. With some TLC this car will run another 200K. Or can be broken for parts (the interior alone would fetch decent money). I am not in a position to respray or add more to it.
The Good: great V6 starts everytime, new battery, serviced at regular intervals, great interior, genuine toolbag, spare tyre present, full electronic climate control, after-market radio with bluetooth/ USB, full electric front seats
The Bad: surface rust on rear bonnet, front grille, side pantls and door corners, runs rough as it has not been driven in a while, obvious coolant leak (drains right now so I am leaning towards a hose replacement due to hardening). Electric seat issue with fuse, so it is being bypassed by a cable direct to battery - you can remove it to prevent battery drain. Sunroof liner sagging.
