Description

The Saab 9000 was designed as part of the type four platform in conjunction with Italian car manufacturer Fiat. The 9000 was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and Saab's in-house designer Bjorn Envall.
The Saab 9000 Cs aero was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October 1992. It is powered by the Legendary B234 2. 3 litre engine developing 225 bhp and was the fastest Saab to date, courtesy of a Mitsubishi TD04 turbocharger. The Aeros in gear acceleration was strongly emphasised and period advertising boasts "the 5-speeed Saab Aero will streak from 50-70 mph faster than a Ferrari Testarossa or a Porsche Carrerra!".
The aero was discontinued in 1997.
N52WNF
Is a 1995 model manufacturerd in June and registered August that year. The car has low ownership despite the fact that the very first owner of the vehicle only had it for two weeks before he was dispatched to Iraq ( he was in the RAF) and sold it back to Yeovil Saab.
Bodywork: is in overall excellent condition but remember it is nearly 30 years old. It has had some paintwork, with some lacquer peel on the passenger door, and the rear quarter on the same side is a slightly different shade which is noticeable in certain light. The front headlight wipers have been removed (most don't work nowadays) and the holes filled and painted.
Interior: finished in rocky black leather all in very good condition. The drivers seat has been refurbished by a previous owner and I have a receipt for the work. All door card's are great and carpets are protected by fitted mats that I purchased. Boot is clean and there is a space saver spare plus a saab toolkit.
The car drives really well, and being a manual is the most sort after. The car pulls well and would embarrass more modern cars. Everything works electric windows/ sunroof etc except for the heater blower. The car has had a full engine service including timing chain replacement.
Wheels are genuine deep dish alloys in good condition with some light kerbing. Tyres are Michelin all round.
MOT runs until the end of November. There are a couple of advisories but never any corrosion issues. Genuine reason for sale. Getting rather rare nowadays and gets lot's of admiring looks. Viewings weekend only. Thanks for reading. I have a large folder with mot's and general maintenance receipts.
