Description
First registered in 1972 in Palermo, bought by second owner in 2010 who repainted the body and replaced the engine with an original unprocessed 650 and alternator leaving everything else completely original. After being little used the car was idle from 2018 to 2024 when it was bought by me and restarted. With some slight marks on the bodywork and chrome still original, it has a totally original interior with still its unobtainable carpet with some signs of wear but deliberately left to show originality. The bottoms are original in excellent condition but some repairs have been made. The mechanics are in perfect working order, the brakes have been redone, oil, air filter and petrol replaced with new hoses. Some other minor repairs may be necessary when putting it back on the road due to the long period of inactivity. The documents and number plates are in order and original and the ministerial inspection is valid until the end of 2026 and the export procedure can also be carried out. One of the last examples of the Fiat 500 L produced, as already in 1972 Fiat had begun marketing the 126 with a 595 cc engine, destined to replace the 500, which remained on the list until 1975 in the R version with the 595 cc engine of the 126.
