It was in the third generation of the Ford Escort that the model's first cabriolet was lanches. This generation was a success, right from the more modest three and five doors, station wagon up to the charismatic cabriolet.
It was precisely during the eighties where older people will certainly remember, the British tv show “Dempsey & Makepeace” where the famous silver XR3i “starred”. As a result of this series, many wanted an Escort and, if possible, the XR3i.
Now, it is precisely in the same configuration that this example, both in color, equipment and engine shows up, but in the cabriolet version!
This vehicle has never been restored, it was only resprayed, had a New softtop fitted, serviced and had deep interior cleaning/ detailing by a specialized professional.
In very good condition and ready to head into spring with the top down!
Very importante to take in mind, the car is absolutely rust free. It’s an issue that does not happen in Portugal if the cars are well stored, climate helps a lot!
The car is in a small town 20 minutes away from Oporto AirPort. It’s possible to send the car worldwide.
