Description
A Petersen Bentley is built from the ground up using a combination of authentic original components and brand new parts that engineered up to and beyond the specifications of those used on the original car. Our car was built from an original 1935 Bentley Chassis. The engine was sourced from a Bentley R Type 4. 5 litre straight six. The four speed gearbox also comes from the same R Type. This was then overhauled and re-engineered by Petersen Engineering, adding a new Petersen BD Blower Supercharger to the front of the block. The bodywork was made as close to the original as possible, with detachable cycle wings as per the original car. The car also has a second (half) seat to the passengers side with detachable metal tonneau cover.
