1998 (R) Volvo V70 T5 (2. 3Litre 5-Cyl Turbo) Automatic Estate in Olive Metallic Green:
Purchased in 2022 for £3, 000 through a specialist in Burnham-on-Crouch via Car & Classic, specifically to be a daily driver while our MGB GT was being restored, to move furniture to our house in France and downsizing to an apartment in the UK... all done now, so no longer required. (It's also proved popular with the extended family for moving or disposing of fridge-freezers etc).
My wife & I both love driving it, but we have two smaller cars between us.

FULL Service History from new - mainly through Volvo but we've always used our local garage/ MoT station (Paice Motors in Sunbury) who can vouch for it.
Two working keys/ key fobs, original manuals & radio code. The car is lovely to drive in any circumstances and (as those in the know appreciate) this is capable of being a very quick car, being the most powerful variant apart from the slightly-unhinged T5-R. It will pootle around happily, cover long distances effortlessly & comfortably, and being automatic it really suits the cruise control mode.
Best bits:
Original 16inch "Columba" wheels in factory matt grey finish (spare is full size but steel)
Full leather seats (driver's seat electrically powered)
Volvo heavy duty rubber carpet protectors except for the driver's footwell
Factory CD/ Cassette/ Radio - great sound
Averages 29. 8 MPG according to the trip computer
No sign of rust
Fitted with a retractable dog guard option (instead of the alternative stowage cover) but no sign of dogs being transported.
Oil & water rarely need any topping up between annual services
Tow bar with electrics fitted, although we haven't ever needed to use it
Gets a lot of petrolhead admirers
Worst bits:
Some battle scars on front & rear bumpers - but not deformed
Factory glass sunroof does not tilt or slide (or leak)
Switch for electric mirrors is missing from driver's door (but wiring loom present)
The power steering fluid needs topping up about once a month, under normal use.
Service light comes on for about a mile after start-up because our local garage can't reset it.
Not ULEZ compliant unless you get a Certificate of Conformity.
Gets a lot of petrolhead admirers!
