For Sale my 1976 Black Mini Clubman 1275GT with nice registration.
If interested we can talk on the phone - the details below, I am old fashioned and do not do keyboard talking, also I only talk numbers if you are standing in front of me looking at the car - you cannot try and haggle price on a car you have not seen.
I am genuinely not over fussed about selling it so will not entertain timewasters. I have 2 other Minis (a 1970 and a 1984) I am restoring plus a Suzuki Swift to prepare for the 2025 Sprint calendar plus some large building projects on at home, and I work away 1 week a month realistically means the earliest I would start work on this is late in 2026 at best!
As you can see from the photos it needs a lot of work but its genuine and honest and savable. It has not been on the road since the 1980's but has been dry stored. I have the full V5 in my name and the original Chassis Tags etc all stored safely. I did the proper HPI on it when I did it and its clear, the certificate etc will come with it. I also changed the tax Class to historic not along ago when this assembly of clowns got into government incase they did anything with the tax exemption like last time in 1997.
I bought it earlier this year and its sat untouched since. It needs all the usual repair work but I have been assembling some panels to go with it. I have got a very good roof skin (it does not need the skin but gutter repairs etc so I figured the complete roof would be best to buy) as well as a rear panel cut off another one, there are also A posts I saved from another one plus an assembly of other panels (new and used) to go with the car. It does not come with seats as they did not come to me with the car so a set will need sourcing.
The engine is a nice bottom end bored out to 1293cc (I would be taking the sump off and changing shells and inspecting if it was me but bores look nice), I have 2 12G940 Heads that can go with it also. Glass is inside the car (front and rear screens etc)
Car is stored currently at Aldridge WS9 and the panels and engine are at my house Hednesford WS12, I can bring the car back here on a trailer and can also deliver it once paid for if you are local as I have a Brian James Car Trailer, you would need a van to pick up the roof skin etc though - the Roof skin did just fit in my Freelander when I bought it but it was a tight squeeze!
