Description
We at the Moray Motor Museum in Elgin have decided to release this desirable, involving drivers car from the collection this year.
This example is a 1991 K-series engined series 1 car with a low mileage and a recent timing belt change around 2 years/ 1500 miles ago. We bought this car as it has a record of maintenance from new, the Norfolk Mustard paint, the aftermarket exhaust preventing paint damage to the rear, the extremely rare S2 111R lightweight wheels and the bonus of having the hardtop roof and shower cap to go over the soft top when fitted.
Obviously the car has a couple subtle modifications like the 111S spoiler and additional fins in the rear splitter. I have the original wheels which are in mint condition with Yokohama tyres and the original air intake should you prefer them.
I can show the service history as well for people who are interested.
Private plate will be removed prior to sale.
Faultless MOT with next due in June 2025.
The car has been used sparingly for local driving in the Scottish highlands and has been enjoyed thoroughly and maintained highly throughout ownership with bills present for all work carried out. Please do not hesitate to get in touch and more than happy to organise delivery. Voted best sports car of the last 25 years by pistonheads is a worthy title for the Lotus Elise S1 and I don’t think anymore needs to be said in terms of how brilliant these cars are.
