The last of the iconic BMW 6 Series in the ultimate highline specification.

I’ve owned this car for the last five years after having been through a 628csi, 635csi and a highline in my early twenties and what a joy to have relived those memories. These cars now get the most amazing response and kind attention from on lookers. This is an unmolested example, with no previous accident damage or shoddy repairs.

Hopefully you’ve been to look a few in person already which has led you to this one. It’s good news, all the hard work has been done. There is nothing to do but drive it. Aside from the full services carried out annually, I’ve had the following done in my ownership documented with photos all by west London classic German car specialist BSG Garages LTD.

·  Engine valve clearances adjusted at every service with new rocker cover gasket. All new vacuum hoses.

·  Mass air flow sensor replaced.

·  Idle Control Valve rebuilt.

·  New Ignition lead set and ignition Coil.

·  New spark plugs and rotor arm.

·  All drive belts replaced.

·  Exhaust manifold gaskets and heatshields replaced.

·  Water pump and thermostat replaced with new sensors. Radiator replaced.

·  All Radiator hoses replaced.

·  Heater variable resistor replaced.

·  Complete exhaust system heat treated and coated.

·  All Four Brake Calipers front and rear rebuilt with new pistons.

·  Brake Master Cylinder replaced.

·  Front & Rear Brake Discs & Brake Pads replaced w/ new sensors.

·  Front & Rear Brake Hoses replaced.

·  Front & Rear Shock Absorbers replaced w/ new top mounts.

·  Every single Suspension Control Arm, Bush and Ball Joint replaced front to rear.

·  Front & Rear Anti-Roll Bar Drop Links and Roll Bar Bushes replaced.

·  Rear Subframe rebuild, all Bushes replaced.

·  Front & Rear Wheel Bearings replaced.

·  Four premium Avon tyres with 6mm of tread on four BBS Style 16” Lemans alloy wheels!

·  Four wheel hunter alignment carried out.

·  Power Steering Pump rebuilt with new oil.

·  Differential completely stripped and rebuilt with new bearings and oil.

·  Gearbox rebuilt with new oil and filter.

·  New fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel hoses and sender!

·  Brand new Lucas starter motor.

·  Rebuilt Bosch alternator.

·  New Bosch S5 Battery.

·  Brand new front windscreen (I was told one of the last in BMW stock)

·  Rebuilt air conditioning compressor, new filter drier and ac hoses.

·  All welding done to include new floors, sills and jacking posts. Undersealed professionally with Wurth products. Eat your dinner off underneath, never have to worry again. During the welding all the carpets were removed, professionally cleaned and £500 worth of sound insulation added to the car.

·  Front seats reupholstered at a small fortune and heated elements retrofitted to give two stage heated seats! They are also fully electric and have memory settings.

·  Very modern and premium sound system to consist of front and rear alpine speakers, all in factory locations, subwoofer and alpine amplifier in the boot. DAB, Bluetooth, Spotify & Handsfree calling!

·  Brand new BMW cut key and Cobra remote central locking FOB.

This car starts on the button, idles immediately, keeps up with modern traffic, stops dead in a straight line and drives like new. No knocks, no smoke, no noise. It has just flown through an MOT with no advisories. Truly ready to enjoy, just add fuel, tax and classic insurance. (It’s also ULEZ Exempt) and will be tax and MOT Exempt in a few years’ time.
