The Trikeshop is a family owned business that has been producing trikes for the last 26 years to individual specifications as required by the Customer. They produce high quality trikes and have won numerous awards for innovative style and engineering. Their trikes have been featured in many magazines, including BSH, Trike Mag, Motorcycle News, 100% Biker (gracing the front cover, and center pages), film and television productions, (Men and Motors, The Motorbike show) and have attracted a host of celebrity customers.
In terms of being able to ride a trike a piece of UK legislation was implemented on 10/ 04/ 2014, which allows any person over the age of 21 who holds a full Category B (car) licence (irrespective of disabilities or what year they passed the full Category B test) to ride any size of trike within UK territory. However to ride a trike in Europe you will first have to pass a test on a solo motorcycle. For new licence holders, you cannot ride a trike on a provisional licence unless you have a disability/ disabilities and you cannot take a test on a trike unless you have a disability/ disabilities (‘having a disability/ disabilities’ in this case also means you must notify the DVLA of the nature of your disability/ disabilities).
