Description
Only three former keepers - the owner before me had the classic for around 25 years and had taken her to Iceland in that time!
Currently MOT'd until November 2025. I've enjoyed owning this car so much, though now I've bought a van and I plan to put my efforts into that now.
200tdi engine runs really well and is surprisingly economical with the five speed manual - I think I average around 30mpg. She is also fitted with a Zeus timing gear drive conversion which delivers 120bhp @3250rpm and torque of 250 lb ft @ 1800rpm
Bodywork is good but not great with some age related marks here and there and surface rust on the lower tailgate section.
Interior is in really very good condition, and it has a sunroof which doesn't leak.
I have fitted boost alloys with Winchmax spacers but I do also have all five original wheels if you would prefer me to swap them back.
Below I've listed the high level overview of the work done, for which I have paperwork for it all, happy to answer any questions:
In 2024 - new battery, starter, shock absorber bushes, and rear door sill welded and repaired.
In 2021 - the front and rear axles were removed and all corrosion was removed from body structure, chassis frame and cross members, sill, arches, C pillar.
Replaced all brake discs and callipers and pipes.
New power steering box.
New CV joint.
In 2011 - Clutch and slave cylinder fitted
