1966 Lotus Cortina Mk 1
An honest, correct and highly original example in the classic Lotus Cortina colours of Ermine White and Sherwood green.
The car’s originality has benefitted from a long period of dry storage, hence it has also only covered 74, 000 miles. Over the past 6 months the car has been subject to a sympathetic recommission, and it has had many parts refurbished or replaced which ensures the car is ‘on the button’ for the next lucky owner.
This is a lovely looking original car with a great patina commensurate to its age, that adds a lot of character, such as the original 60 year old lotus badges adorning the bodywork and the period correct steel wheels. The car has a highly original interior and sports the correct wood-rimmed steering wheel and period instruments, etc.
I am a massive fan of hot Fords, a few more can be found in the stable, and I can confirm this car is a pleasure to drive, it puts a smile on your face and many others around you. I often get mobbed when stopping for fuel ! It’s also really fun and rewarding for the enthusiastic pilot.
