JDM import Eunos, Special S - 107k km, 67k miles, 1994.
Sills have been done by Total MX5 Repair repair front and back, entire underside has been reconditioned and sealed. All the suspension has been removed, reconditioned, powder coated and replaced. Running on Gaz Golds with Powerflex Purple bushes everywhere. Professionally resprayed, new hood, in complete resto. TD-Lane twin hoop rollover.
1. 8 Engine - left standard and not messed with - runs beautifully.
Brakes fully reconditioned, powder coated, new shrouds, braided lines, new discs, and pads, brace with stopper. Original brace also included. Absolutely excellent stopping. No ABS.
15" RS lightweight BBS wheels, complete remanufactured with Diamond turned rims, reconditioned centre gaps, original spanner, completes centre cap spare if one lost.
Working Aircon.
All original Nardi interior, Roadster sills, door pannels. Doors have lightweight handles - originals also included. Special S matts.
Stereo supports Apple phones wired to console, discrete modern single din. Upgraded speakers behind original grills.
Just been professionally 1 year ceramic coated, the hood cleaned and hydrophobically treated, the alloys coated by Sirius Detailing.
Lots of original JDM details.

Long time member of both Total 5s, and MX5 nutz. I bought this 12 years ago as a project car to go OEM+ plus with. I picked this up needing the sills done, the cooling sorting and a raft of small issues. I spend several years with MX-5 specialists like TD Lane, MX5 repair having it stripped back, rust addressed, resealed and undercoated, repainted, complete suspension and brake overall and everything mechanically made right. Right down to the correct switches, understays etc. I've made a few crucial changes, like removing the sealed headlight units with proper Wipac ones and having a brake stopper engine bay fitted and a hoop, but retaining all the original Special-S details. Changed the original 14" BBS for remade RS 15". It's just been professionally ceramic coated by Sirius detailing and is looking amazing.
It's a fabulous thing to drive, makes the road feel big, always gets smile not glare from people passing.
