This time warp V12 XJS convertible has had 3 owners from new, and comes with a complete service history to validate the 29, 000 miles it has travelled from new , that is 783miles a year!
it has a fresh 12 month MOT certificate and all old MOT certificates are present to validate genuine mileage and history. I am a Jaguar Drivers Club member and bought the car privately simply because of the mileage and the car needed to be preserved in this special year of 50th anniversary for the XJS and then I proceeded to spend over £35k on bringing such a low mileage car up to todays levels you see in the pictures.
I have priced this car at a fair price and you will note this when low mileage coupes in adverts are priced at £40k. The car is in concourse condition and looks absolutely stunning and wherever she goes she gets praise from members of public who can't believe the car was manufactured in 1988. The car is open to any inspection . The bodywork is rock solid everywhere with no rot whatsoever or any rust to be seen anywhere. The car has undergone a complete bare metal respray and a complete new leather retrim of the cabin at over £4k, a brand new mohair hood has also been fitted with all work carried out by Classic Jaguar Marque Specialists.
On the mechanical side it has had a complete mechanical overall with no expense spared with everything either repaired or replaced, this together with all electrics being either repaired or renewed throughout the car all this work was carried out by a renowned Jaguar Marque Specialist.
A complete new stainless steel exhaust system has been fitted and the 5 original wheels have been completely refreshed by a wheel specialist and then we fitted 5 brand new tyres.
The boot area as you can see has no wear at all and in there is the complete original tool kit in its case as it left the factory and all tools are in tact and it seems they have never been used.
The car has all original Jaguar Books bounded in leather packs as they left the factory.
The car has its original tonneau cover which is in tip top condition.
