1951 Sunbeam S7 Deluxe
Good running oily rag condition, purrs along at 50 mph.
Matching numbers to documentation.
Originally restored by previous owner around 2008.
I purchased it on 18/ 03/ 2021 with 12, 981 miles on the clock and now has 13, 388 miles.
Since purchased, I have carried out a full front to back service as per the Stewart Engineering Owners Hand Book and replaced many worn parts with new (fully documented).
Stewart Engineering work/ modifications completed prior to my purchase:
- Rewire stator
- New Amal 624R carb
- Valve and valve guide check
- Crankcase breather modification
- Upgraded oil pressure switch
- Clutch leverage kit
- Extended sump kit
Modifications completed since my purchase:
- Replace mechanical voltage regulator with Stewart Engineering electronic unit.
- Install Stewart Engineering upgraded sump plate with removable strainer.
- New dual battery system.
- Fitted raised handle bars for comfort, with inverse clutch and brake levers - as per the original S7. (Original handlebars, levers and cables included with sale).
- Currently fitted with fishtail exhaust for that 1930’s Indian look, great sound! (Original exhaust shown in last photo included in sale).
- Detailed replica of it’s original 1951 tax disc fitted
