Description
TR4 for total restoration. Has had some restoration to the chassis and has rebuilt suspension but has been through 2 crooked restorers and the last ones decided it was easier to take the money and send photos of another car!
The car is an overdrive gearbox model with 5 wire wheels, it has had an unleaded head (cost £800) which is separated from the block, also has a stainless steel exhaust and manifold, K&N Filters and brake servo which both need fitting.
The majority of the parts are available, dials, dash, doors with glass, windscreen etc. The is a hood and frame but the interior has gone, thought eh seats are recovered (many years back) and in good condition. The chrome work such as grill, door and boot handles etc are present
The body work is solid with no rot, floors and boot floor are good, inner wings also good. The exterior panels are all heavy gauge so suspect they may be original.
Selling as i dont have the enthusiasm to have the car restored, have a few other classics that i can use.
Getting grief from the wife to get it shifted off the drive!
Can send more photos, info if required. Most parts are available, body is solid, has had some rebuild on the chassis and suspension. The small expensive bits like dials, chrome etc are all here. Will need a full restoration but ran nicely before the crooks got their hands on it.
