1983 land rover series 3 station wagon diesel. Tax and mot exempt. 12 months mot last week.
Built on a new galvanised chassis with new bulk head full nut and bolt rebuild.
All suspension is new springs shockers. As is brakes, shoes drums and pipes with braded flexible hoses.
All new wheel bearings.
The engine is the original 2. 25 diesel that has undergone major rebuild including pistons, fuel injectors and new fuel pump. New timing chain.
This is one of the best starting diesel land rovers I have seen.
This land rover is still fitted with its correct manifold vacuum for the brake servo.
It has the added advantage of a fairey overdrive unit and free wheeling hubs.
It will cruise away happy at 60mph.
It is sat on new set of 5 Avon range master tyres.
The interior has fitted door cards and floor mats with bulkhead carpets.
The dash is all in tact and everything works as it should.
The rear tub floor is new with new chassis stays.
The seats are very nice and comfortable.
The exterior body work is very nice for a 41 year old car. It is fitted with 3 new doors with new glass.
The original station wagon sides are there just not restored. Probably forgot some bits so any questions just ask.
