Description
For sale my 1990 GSXR250rr. GJ73A its the 250cc 4 cylinder 4 stroke which revs to 18, 000 rpm.
I bought the bike as a bit of a wreck, over the last 2 years Ive had it registered (its an import) the v5 is in my name.
I've completely dismantled and rebuilt it, powder coated all steel parts, Powder coated the wheels, vapour blasted all the aluminium parts
It has brand new tires. New fork seals, and a brand new Hagon rear shock (i have the receipt) .
The engine and gearbox I haven't touched except, I've rebuilt the cylinder head, ground in the valves and reskimmed the valves and re installed it with a new head gasket.
I've reassembled the bike, its ready to go, all the electrics are perfect, everything works its mechanically perfect. The motor cranks.
But it wont start. If I give it a squirt of easy start it fires and try's to go. I'm man enough to admit Its beaten me. I give up. I'm admitting defeat and selling it.
The bike has all original plastics and paint, there are a few marks, but its 35 years old and the left hand mirror is broken (the plastic parts).
It has matching engine and frame number.
It needs someone who is good with 4 cylinder carb bikes to finish it off.
So I'm selling it at a reduced price. £3500 no offers, no haggling. this is a super rare (in the uk ) bike.
it sounds like a formula one car when on full chat, search gsxr250 on you tube.
its a tiny little thing which will amaze all at bike night, trust me there wont be another one there.
