BMW 545i 2004 4. 4L V8
Fantastic E61 5 Series Touring. 4. 4L V8 estate with ZF auto. The car has had a massive refresh with some big jobs done. Recent works include - Valve stem seals, Alternator gasket, Oil Sump Gasket (prev MOT advisory), Waterpump, Thermostat, Drive Belt and Coolant Hose refresh. Gearbox and Diff serviced. All new Bosch plugs and coil packs, Oil & Filters 2k miles ago, OEM refurbished wheels with matching Goodyear tyres (rears brand new) and 4 wheel alignment. Receipts and service book with all previous yearly servicing. Run on Shell V-Power.
No issues with interior. The seat bolsters are good, seats and carpets unmarked. Massive boot with split tailgate. Exterior would look even better once we’re out of winter with a detail.
ULEZ & CAZ compliant with ISOFIX. Cheaper tax bracket as pre-2005 (£415 for 12 months). MOT until October 2025. Apply CarPlay headunit looks OEM and swaps between original iDrive as needed. The old head unit will come with the car if you ever wanted to put it back. I have a spare set of wheels (need a refurb) and a few spares. 2 keys. Parking sensors front and rear.
Car has been used as daily and for family duties across the country (ie not just driven around town). As you can see from works above I wasn't planning on selling but being given a lease car and we don't have parking for 3 cars. 1 of 30 545i touring currently taxed in UK - rarer than an E61 M5 touring and much cheaper to run (same engine as 6 series + others so lots of spares/ knowhow). Probably a lot easier to live with too with the ZF auto.
Any inspection welcome in Cardiff. I travel to Essex occasionally so viewing/ delivery could be discussed if mutually convenient.
