BMW R80gs
Well maintained and in good condition for its age and having not been restored.
It is a British registered bike that I have owned and looked after since 2018.
There is a small dent in the tank caused by an object falling off the garage shelf.
The bike starts on the button and runs very well.
There is a set of BMW panniers with the bike and I have both original keys.
The bike is SORN at the moment. I am happy to MOT if required for the sale.
The conti trail attack tyres have had very little use. During my ownership the bike has been well maintained and serviced regardless of cost .
Upgrades include front and rear Ohlins suspension rebuild including progressive fork springs. This was carried out by a specialist in Palma Mallorca whilst I was working over there.
This transformed the handling of the bike. It’s a complete joy to ride.
I also had rigid industries lights discreetly fitted to the crash bars on custom made brackets welded to the crash bars prior to re powder coating.
The lights are wired to come on with full beam and also have a genuine BMW override rocker switch in the correct position on the fairing.
The lights are bright and make night riding much easier as the headlight isn’t great!
The pannier rack is genuine gs with the additional cross bracing . I have the correct panniers and keys.
There is a Touratec plate fitted to the main stand for additional protection.
I also have both original hinged ignition keys and the riders handbook . The steering lock is fully functional.
I purchased the bike from a friend in 2018 . I have enjoyed owning it, however it is just not getting any use so I’d like someone else to enjoy the bike.
