Description

This is a serious bit of kit, all credit to the previous owner who built this its a work of art and makes some un believable turbo noises.
It start life as a standard 1964 notchback from the Netherlands in its L575 nutria brown with brown cord interior. Its been in this country for a few years changed a few hands and in lock down the previous owner started the modifications.
Its running a full rebuild 1600 twin port set up for a turbo. T28 turbo with custom stainless steel exhaust system, Custom plenum set up with dump valve which feed two custom solex 34 carbs with full custom linkage. 123 Bluetooth distributor msd leads 12 v alternator conversion. Full flowed case with remote oil filter and large oil cooler. Full breather system. An fittings. 12V electric fuel pump with fuel filter king. MST valve covers. Freeway flyer IRS gearbox. Full rewire with modern blade fuses. It taken a lot of work to get this turbo set working not many turbo type 3's out there. This engine is a work of art and goes down the road well estimated around 120 bhp and does make some wicked noises. Suspension wise a lot of work has been done to make this notchback sit on the floor. No modification have been made to the body so could be put back to stock. For starter its had IRS conversion with a type 3 IRS rear cradle. All mounts and cradle has been shaved so when air out its on the floor. It has had a fortune spend on the suspension. Lime bug Cantilever rear air ride kit with step spring plates. Type 1 conversion lime bug jawbreaker air ride front beam with MOA430 gold top ultimate air struts , lime bug super strength through rods , drop spindles , lime bug ultra pitman arm. 5x130 disc on the front and 5x130 drums on the rear. Air management wise is kept simple with a manual 4 way air control system a 4 gallon tank with a viair 380 compressor all the switches are hidden in the glove box. The wheels are a one off set made by Lime bug 16inch ER34 3 piece billet aluminium centres with hand brushed anodised lips. (Very expensive). Custom 5x130 to 5x205 adapters all Ti wheel hardware. Exterior wise is left as original as possible it still wearing most of its original paint but does shine up well. There is a few very discreet modifications. The bumpers have been lowered and brought closer in to the body loosing the big gap. Which cleans the look of the car up. The car is super solid with no rust issues. The interior is mostly standard with a custom set of bucket seats. Custom monster tacho mount. Vintage speed shifter. New carpets and mats. Custom gauges and turbo sensors. This is a true show car which will make you stand out but yet again so much fun to drive due to the turbo set up. You can drive it slow like a normal air-cooled car but when the mood takes you put the hammer down and the turbo springs into life. Will cruise at 70 mph all day no problem. The previous owner has spend a fortune on it. I've enjoy it end of last summer but its time to move it on.
