2001 BMW Z3 E36/7 3.0i tiptronic

This stunning RHD Imola Red Roadster Sport is is beautiful condition with perfect unmarked bodywork and excellent mechanical condition. It was built in Spartanburg USA in 2001 and exported to JAPAN where it was first registered on 13/ 07/ 2001. I purchased it in Oct 23 and really hasn’t been used much at all as I struggle and my wife can’t get in at all and she just can’t operate the hood. Dreamers at our age ! The car was imported to the UK and first registered here 12/ 11/ 2021. It has been cosseted and I am the 2nd UK owner. For further details see History. Built to Japanese spec including upgraded 18” wheels with 225/ 40 ZR18 front and255/ 35 ZR 18 rear tyres. The car was also fitted with a Pioneer Carrozerria MVH-5100 Bluetooth/ USB/ Radio/ CD head unit for iPod/ iPhone with a sub woofer still in excellent condition.
Little information is available on service history in Japan other than services in 2017 at 79, 500km and 2019 at 87, 300km. The vehicle was exported from Japan on 30/ 11/ 2020 to The Car Warehouse Middlesbrough where it was set up to UK spec with the addition of a digital speedometer in mph. The first Uk registration was 12/ 11/ 2021. It was sold to the first owner at 92, 787km on 25/ 11/ 2021 after a service and PDI. Unfortunately that owner became very ill and I purchased the car at 96, 474km on the 21/ 10/ 2023.
The car has been very well cared for, garaged and regularly serviced - despite low mileage 4 services after entering the UK. It has also had - soft top overhaul with new pump and ram, new discs/ pads and pad wear leads, new rocker gasket, 2 plug changes, new inlet camshaft position and mass airflow sensors and 2 new front 225/ 40 ZR18 92Y Continental sport contact tyres in August 2024. The car currently shows 96764km ( 60, 477miles). Since purchasing the car, my wife and I have become less mobile and it has had little use but is started and moved regularly. Consequently I placed the vehicle on SORN on 30/ 09/ 2024 when insurance due for renewal. We hoped to reuse in Spring but think we are a bit ambitious!
So this excellent order car is for sale. Bodywork is in excellent unmarked condition with absolutely no no sign of corrosion and is mechanically very good. We will be sorry to see it go!
