2002 Renault Clio V6 Phase 1 (2001-03)

Here I have for sale my beautiful little Iceberg Silver Clio V6 Sport Phase 1, which I have owned for just over 2 years and I am now reluctantly selling as I have just added a Sierra RS500 Cosworth to my collection, and I am fast running out of storage space!!

She has covered just over 53, 000 miles. fully documented, with an extensive service history and maintenance file going back to the early 2000s.

She is 100% HPI clear and the private numberplate will be included in the sale, and also included at the asking price ONLY, she will come with a fresh new major engine out service with new cam belts, water pump etc. etc.

Recent work I have had done in my 2 years' ownership includes 2 services, a complete wheel refurbishment and both rear calipers fully overhauled and professionally refurbished.

She is registered with the Renault Owners Club and she is number 203 of less than 200 recorded RHD U. K. examples (of which there were 256 produced in the U. K. between 2001 and 2002, and less than 200 are now believed to exist, of which according to many internet sources this number may now actually be inaccurate and it now seems very likely that there are actually less than 100 remaining in the UK, !!!!
SO A VERY RARE COLLECTIBLE CAR INDEED and hence as a bonus SHE is likely to continue to be a great Fun Appreciating asset for years to come too !!!! )

As you can see in the pictures, she is in beautiful un-restored condition throughout and she benefited from a professional paint detailing service just after I purchased her back in February 2023.
She is in wonderful condition and she only gets used on dry sunny days, and is presently on SORN until the warm weather returns!

I will be very sad to see her go, and would like her to go to another fellow sports car enthusiast and please.... serious enquiries only!!The French were widely known to make extremely good hatchbacks back in the days, and in the 90s they produced one of the best FWD cars ever made, the Clio Williams, it’s no surprise that they decided to go really overboard so in conjunction with TWR (Tom Walkinshaw Racing F1 Designs in Sweden) together they created the Clio V6 RWD, of which the Phase 1 cars were based on the V6 Clio RS Trophy racing cars used in the Renault RS Racing Cup Trophy Series, and it is still considered one of the wildest hottest hot hatchbacks ever made to this day.
The Renault Clio V6 Phase 1 shares hardly any parts with its little city-car sisters, due to the size and location of the 3. 0 V6 engine in the rear of the car, these Phase 1 cars were hand-built by Renault RS Division and TWR Racing, and most of the structure had to be massively modified or replaced and is totally unique to this model. It is massively strengthened to handle the power and the weight of the Renault 3. 0 V6 ES9 engine and uprated 6-speed gearbox.
The wild and gorgeous wide arch bodywork is again unique, and built to handle the wider rear track that was needed to try and help keep this potent little car on the road, and when you drive this car it make a lovely burble, gives excellent performance and most of all... puts a smile on your face and I must say that compared to some of the Supercars in my collection, this car can draw crowds of admirers like nothing else I have ever owned!! :-)
