Description
Reduced to sell.
For sale is my Toyota Granvia 3. 0TD Campervan.
1995 model, imported into the U. K. in 2004.
The speedo and odometer show km, but has been re calibrated to read MPH.
If you check the MOT history online, you’ll notice the adjustment from KM to MPH in the records.
Current mileage is 189, 500, but will increase as it’s my daily runner.
It’s a 2 seater, 2 berth camper.
Front cabin is fitted with electric windows, mirrors and driver’s seat adjustment.
3 speed auto with overdrive.
PAS, and tilt adjustable steering wheel.
Great heater, air con is cool, not cold.
Has a centre console fridge/ heater which works.
Aftermarket CD/ radio.
Partial history.
During my ownership I’ve replaced the alternator, battery, exhaust system, timing belt, water pump and cam cover gasket.
It’s also been annually serviced whilst I’ve owned it.
The rear is a 2 seater, which very easily converts into a small double bed.
Cushions are comfortable.
There’s a 2 ring gas hob and combined sink.
Tons of cupboard space, and storage space in the raised roof and under the seating/ bed.
Rear curtains.
Porta loo located inside a custom made casing with lift up lid, that also acts as an extra seat.
It will come with loads of accessories for any trip away -
Folding combined table and chairs.
Drive away awning.
Folding picnic chairs.
Removable table and leg for the cabin.
Insulated screen blinds, helps keep the warmth in during cold weather, and keeps the sun’s rays out in summer.
It has a leisure battery, which is not currently connected, but would take 5 minutes to re-connect if you wanted to use it.
The vehicle structure is rock solid, the bodywork is fine in a 2 tone green/ grey colour, with a few localised scabs here and there, some scratches and some isolated areas of lacquer peel.
The fibreglass roof has been repaired in the past, it’s certainly not the prettiest job, but it’s watertight.
It was subject to write off some time after 2013, but has been repaired to a high standard, passing a stringent structural inspection to achieve its subsequent MOT’s (see pic of V5).
MOT until October 2025, advisories have not been fixed, so priced accordingly, taking into account the MOT advisories and the cosmetic appearance.
Only selling as we’ve not had the opportunity to utilise this as a camper in the way we planned, and we’re going back to a car.
I will consider a straight swap for a pre 2000 car of a similar value, or part ex (cash my way). Nothing very small like an MG Midget or old Mini, as I’d struggle to fit in it, and nothing over 5 metres, as I want it to fit in my garage.
The current pics show it to be a bit grubby, but I will undertake a full clean and polish before it’s sold.
Viewings and test drives encouraged, located in north Manchester. Bulletproof Toyota reliability, engine is the same as the Landcruiser, which will probably last forever. Has not let me down other than the alternator failing, which has since been replaced.
Big enough to use as a proper camper, small enough to get down those small country lanes on any trips out.
I currently use it as my daily runner, and has proven to be extremely reliable and comfortable. Very easy to drive and manoeuvre.
