Description
For sale my beautiful 1974 MGB Roadster in original Citron yellow, one of the last chrome bumper cars in excellent condition for a 50 year old car.
Overdrive works perfectly.
Originally restored in 2000 the car has done few dry miles since and comes with a comprehensive history file and MOTs since. Previously in famous ownership.
Recent works include:
Full bare metal refurbished Rostyle wheels.
Electronic ignition and fuel pump
12 volt battery conversion.
Recent hood in excellent condition, with tonneau cover and half tonneau included.
Recent tyres
Upgraded starter motor, brake master cylinder, starter ring gear and full clutch assembly, new grille and recon radiator. Front shocks, carbs rebuilt and tuned on rolling road (Running like a dream and sounds awesome....), Alloy Rocker cover, new front and rear drop links, K&N filters, new servo unit. all chrome brightwork recently replaced, MG owner club leather recliners. Recent new carpets (Inside and boot), mats. New Door cards, removable wind deflector. Too many small improvements to list.
Very good overall paint and condition, but not perfect, a few marks but it polishes up very nicely for a 50 year old car! Box of various spares and choice of radios come with it, two keys. I will update with more images when I get a chance. The vehicle have been in one family ownership most of its life, and thereafter looked after and maintained by keen enthusiasts, garage stored and only driven on dry conditions! I think i may be the 7th Owner, but need to double check the file.
The car has a very cool 1970's vibe, especially with the refurbed Rostyle wheels and really stands out as something a bit different against the 60's vehicles. It has a relatively rare colour, most MGB meets i don't see another like it. Its a great fun useable classic and turns heads wherever it goes. Will be sad to see it go.
