Description
JAGUAR XJ6 SERIES III 4. 2 AUTOMATIC registered 1st September 1986.
This XJ6 is in good condition having been dry stored for many years and is a pleasure to drive.
There is some service history having had the braking system overhauled last year with a new master cylinder, new disks and new callipers both front and rear. Other service items fitted during our ownership.
Current MOT until 4th June 2025 with no advisories.
The vehicle has been fitted with central locking and a remote-controlled alarm.
Fitted with original pepper-pot wheels the Series III owes its restyling to Pininfarina with a revised grille, redesigned and enlarged rear light clusters, a new chrome tail profile, new thicker bumpers with rubber profile and rear fog lights. Windscreen was more raked and rear windows redesigned offering a slightly higher cabin. The interior has natural leather seating and veneered facings. The Series III was considered 'the last great Jaguar' built under Sir William Lyons.
Viewing recommended.
Sensible Offers Considered. We refer to "Gordon" as our gangster car and he was purchased last year from a retired JEC club member for us to attend local car events whilst we restored another classic Jaguar.
We have used him to do club runs, to attend local car show and is a club winning car. Sadly we won't be using him much now so it is time to find him a new home.
