I bought my beloved Mercedes C200 from Mathewsons Pickering auction in February 2017. It'd had one husband and wife owner from new, with 56, 000 miles on the clock. I've added another thirty odd thousand miles in my 8 years of ownership. During this time, the car has been my trusted daily transport. Bodily and mechanically, the car is in excellent condition, while the interior is pristine. There is a fully documented service and repair history during my ownership, plus much history from the previous, original owners (see photo). The car's been garage serviced annually, including oil and all filter changes.
An intermittent fault developed with the automatic gearbox in 2022, so I opted to have the transmission fully rebuilt by Autotran Stockport at a cost of £2, 040.
I decided it was worth the expenditure, due to the car being in such good condition, and it has performed reliably ever since. I'm sad to be selling my lovely old Merc, however I need the load carrying practicality of an estate car now, and don't have space for both!
