The car since 2000 has extensively been restored to Chassis sand blasted & painted, new A&B posts and riggers, suspension rebuilt, engine bored out with hydraulic tappets and electronic timing, rebuilt gear box with overdrive, new prop rebuilt back axle with Wolfrace wheels. Radiator recored with engine oil cooler and electric fan with overide
Body remodelled to make fully vented bonnet and rehatch area to fit larger more reliable lights and locking window by glass expert . Webasto roof recovered with new head lining. Body reprayed with flexible undercoat and Ford white over.
New inner panels fitted to body, carpets replaced although tired now and fabric seats.
Fuel tank is stainless steel and all fittings where possible are stainless.
Fuel pump is electric with new Carb fitted.
Lights replaced to modern level (no Gloworms) via relays to save original wiring and radio cassette fitted with 4 speakers.
In Short engine 160hp on rolling road makes ideal long distance cruiser with only routine maintence needed
The odometer reading is incorrect due to repair estimate is 45K since engine rebuild although it is still tight. I purchased it part finished from the estate of a known make expert to give a finished car with the known wrinkles removed to give a comfortable long distance car with power to tow caravan or have fun.
Trojan has been built to car pleasure with only basic ongoing work needed which I cannot enjoy now due to health problems
