Offered for sale or swap is my 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis. I recently bought it but am struggling to find anywhere to store it. Its currently parked on my parents street, along with my other cars and more than likely p* ssing the neighbours off! If i find storage though, I'll be taking the advert down and keeping her.
It's a 1993 Mercury Grand Marquis, 4. 6v8 - basically a Crown Vic. It runs and drives amazing. The absolute comfiest car, so wafty and effortless to drive. The V8 has a nice rumble and is actually quite understated, not loud at all.
It's showing 46k miles on the odometer, which matches the MOT history, although I don't have any American history with it so can't verify this.
There's a folder full of history with it and a box full of spare parts. I've not fully looked through the history but from what I have seen, it's been well cared for.
The exterior and interior are both in excellent condition. The tyres are good all round and matching BF Goodrich.
It does have the odd mark consummate with age. It isn't perfect and the items which require attention are as follows; check air bag light on (code 53, passenger airbag short), the boot and rear passenger door leak water in (seals look to be the culprit), the check engine light occasionally comes on (think it just needs a service as been in storage for a while, doesn't affect the engine at all when light comes on), the rear view mirror fell off (i have a spare and some adhesive to fix back on so will be fixed shortly), the screen wash motor is working, but doesn't spray on windscreen (pipe may just be blocked).
It genuinely is a lovely car and if i find some storage I'll be taking her off sale. I'm open to swaps or px (cash my way) for something interesting and most importantly smaller, ideally tax and MOT exempt. Not after a massive project so running and driving, but not against some cosmetic issues to resolve.
