Beautiful example of an original Long Wheel Base 1974 VW GP Beach Buggy (as detailed on the V5) - MOT and Road Tax exempt.
Rebuilt and restored from the ground up. Original 1600 engine 1974 chassis. Original speedometer. EMPI gear knob and wheel. New seats. Drives lovely, lots of power!
Body sprayed in white metallic with blue metallic stripe. 5. 1 JL Audio Sound system is an absolute highlight with a custom built rear mould housing a sub and two rear speakers, plus 2 front speaker and Bluetooth interface. Sounds incredible.
Condition is superb, a few minor imperfections on the body work. Driven in the summer and gets lots of attention! Well maintained by experienced retired mechanic who specialises in classic cars.
Comes with lots of history (pictures on a USB stick of the rebuild).
Also comes with a towing A frame that attaches to the front of the chassis.
Absolute delight and will be missed however it's time to move onto something new and let someone else enjoy driving down the road listening to The Beach Boys!

DeanThe specification is outstanding and the attention to detail in the restoration is lovely. Every nut and bolt stainless steel. The engine all chrome and looks elegant. It's also super comfortable and carpeted. There's also room in that back for luggage.
I drove this back from Bournemouth to Kent when I purchased it. Since then it's been on day trips to the beach, and even gets the odd trip out to the shops! Only on sunny days of course!
