A Rare and Historic Model
Originally designed by NSU, the K70 was never meant to be a Volkswagen, but after VW acquired NSU in 1969, the car was launched under the Volkswagen badge.
It became VW’s first-ever front-wheel-drive, water-cooled car, marking a radical shift from the Beetle’s rear-engine layout.
Safety was ahead of its time: reinforced passenger compartment, crumple zones, and safety belt mounts as standard.
Built in Salzgitter, the factory that would later produce the Passat.
Not officially sold in the USA, making it even rarer outside of Europe.
Enthusiast-Owned & Ready for a New Home
Everywhere this car goes, it turns heads and sparks conversation. A proper collector’s piece that deserves to go to a fellow VW enthusiast who appreciates its history and rarity.
