Description
Thank you for taking the time to read the advert for my lovely Raven Black Rover 75 Connoisseur SE. A slightly higher mileage example, but it drives so beautifully and wafts along nicely on the motorway. The super reliable BMW M47R engine is one of my favourites, and suits the car so well, so will go on and on, providing it's serviced regularly.
Some notable points:
- Car will come with its original number plate NV54 XMK
- Sony DAB Bluetooth Single Din head unit with all working functions
- Xenon Headlights with upgraded Philips Xtreme Vision bulbs (Dec 2024)
- Heated leather seats
- Cruise control
- Working Aircon (very rare these days)
Work I have done since ownership
- New LUK 3 piece clutch kit and flywheel (Oct 2024)
- New Cortego Crank pulley and aux belt (Oct 2024)
- New Aircon compressor (Oct 2024)
- Both rear sills rebuilt in 2024
- Refurbished 'meteor' 17" alloys
- 2x Michelin Cross Climate Tyres (Sept 24)
- 2x Goodyear All season tyres (not sure of age, but good tread)
- 3x engine mounts replaced: Upper, Hydromount and Lower
- Working webasto fuel burning heater (helps the car get warm quicker in the winter)
- Full service (June 24 - will need another soon)
- Used upgraded fan with gold resistor
- A used original upgraded one piece exhaust system
- New brake wear sensors all round
- Rear windscreen seal from water ingress
- Headlight polish with a year clarity guarantee
- All colour badges replaced all round
A few sore points:
- The headlining has suffered, but I have pinned it to a 'fashion' so looks loads better than it did before
- There are a few age related marks on the front bumper and on the passenger door, but no signs of rust anywhere
- I've seen better sandstone seats and doorcards, but they still present well and could be improved with some sandstone dye and TLC
There is so much history in a file, with what seems to be the invoice for the first or second owner of the car. Enthusiasts love these sort of details, and it made me love the car even more when I discovered it. It comes with its original stamped owners manual too.
