This car has been in the hands of 1 owner from 1988 - 2023. 4 registered keepers (switched between husband and wife).
Massive history file, 2 folders full of paperwork and invoices and MOT’s dating all the way back many many years.

I have owned the car since 2023, planned to restore myself but other projects and business opportunities have taken priority and so I have decided now to list for sale
As you can see from the photos, it is a project requiring TLC. Some points to note is that there is rust evident in many areas, mainly the bottoms of the doors, bottom corner of windscreen passenger side, rust in the boot area shuts, sunroof has rust on it.
The interior condition is surprisingly good and original. No rips or tears in the leather, just visible wear from general use. The front seats could easily be connolised and will look new. The instrument cluster works fine except for the odometer which has become stuck. Can be an easy repair as the speedo, rev counter and all warning lights etc still work. OBC works. The seats adjust without any problem last time I checked. The windows all work. There are several cracks in the dashboard. The car is water tight and does not leak and does not suffer from any damp which is good
Also to note, there are spare parts worth around £3k. This includes: replacement bonnet, bootlid, Genuine M5 body kit, front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper. This should definitely help with the restoration

The car was serviced last year, this included Full engine oil service and filters, coolant service, Brake fluid service, Power steering fluid flush, New fuel filter and fuel pump replacement and few other bits. This cost me almost £2000. Car has done less than 100 miles since
