We bought the Golf from a friend who had bought it from a family member. Our friend, a very experienced car mechanic has looked after it since its purchase. It was originally bought from Dovercourt VW dealer just around the corner from us in Battersea so it hasn't strayed far!
We have a file full of all the invoices, MOTs etc.
In 2023 we spent £900 fitting a new power steering rack along with both nearside&offside inner&outer tie-rods. Car runs well and being ULEZ friendly is a plus. Some scratches and bumps which I show in the photos but mechanically sound and solid. AC needs new gas. Heater fan only operates at level 4.
We keep it off road and under cover. We are only selling as we don't want to run 2 cars. This Golf is a reliable, discreet and ULEZ friendly run around for London (and beyond of course!)
