Description
This very special 2017 Ducati 959 Panigale is a track-only TriOptions Cup race bike that the previous owner describes as being a £25, 000 build – this includes the price of the bike plus invoices for the race conversion. It was purchased from Chris Walker Kawasaki and it has lots of receipts and “lots of trick parts”. The odometer reads just 3, 362 miles.
‘HN67GPE’ started off as a road bike, before being converted to a race bike by Moto Rapido Hampshire. “Everything changed has been invoiced, compete with prices”. Special features include a race shift gearbox, race fairing and attractive new red colour wrap. The engine, transmission, bodywork and paintwork as all being in ‘excellent’ condition.
The Ducati 959 Panigale was the successor to the Ducati 899, introduced in 2016. It boasted an enlarged 955cc V-twin engine, with Ducati’s desmodromic four valves per cylinder technology. It produced a wild 157bhp, but also had an upgraded exhaust system to meet Euro 4 noise and emission laws. Maxton forks upgrade Brembo floating discs. The gearbox has been reversed at a cost of £500 and now operates a race shift of one up five down. Riders rated it highly when new and it continues to thrill today – with the Ducati name and reputation ensuring it holds its value incredibly well. The Ducati 959 Panigale is a fantastic superbike and a fantastic investment.
