The vehicle has the following imperfections: minor crazing to the OSR bumper, evidence of paintwork to the front bumper (no evidence of crash damage through panel gaps), two minor dents on the OS door, a stone chip on the windscreen outside of drivers view.
At the time of sale the vehicle has two keys, one with and one without a transponder. The original "main" key was lost in transit by Royal Mail whilst being returned from a specialist for transponder repair (cracked circuit board, common fault) and is currently subject to an insurance claim on their tracked delivery service. The car is booked in with Porsche Centre Sheffield for a new key and programming. I purchased this 996 after several months of searching for the ultimate incarnation of the design intent of the vehicle. It is a great example of the first water cooled 911 in its purest form. Whilst far from perfect, it presents a usable example with a fine service history. I will be sad to see it go, but I cannot justify the expense of maintaining it as a third car with a growing family.
Part exchange for a "road trip" vehicle considered (TVR Chimaera, Elise S1, VGC 986 Boxster, Honda S2000) for a NC500 trip in May.
