Description
This exceptional vehicle was originally manufactured in Germany and shipped to Brussels, Belgium, where it was purchased by its first owner. In 1973, the car was brought to South Africa, where it was subsequently sold to a museum in Cape Town. In 2024, we acquired the vehicle from the museum, making us the third owners.
The car remains in its original condition, and we possess all the documentation, including import records and paperwork from the first owner. It officially entered South Africa on January 22, 1973, at Faimes Harcourt, Claremont, Cape Town, RSA.
Now 55 years old, this vehicle has been meticulously preserved and remains in pristine, original condition. This car holds a very special place in my heart, and I truly believe the next owner will love it just as much. I consider myself incredibly fortunate and privileged to have owned this masterpiece. My connection to this car goes beyond its beauty – my father owned a Mk1 3L V6 Capri when I was just a little girl. He passed away 11 years ago, and the memories of him with that car have stayed with me all these years. It was his pride and joy, but due to financial challenges, he had to part with it.
For the past five years, I searched tirelessly to find that exact car, but I never succeeded. Instead, a year ago, I came across this stunning vehicle, and I knew I had to have it. It was the closest thing to my father's car, and I poured my heart into making it my own.
Now, due to our decision to relocate, I find myself in the difficult position of having to part with my beloved car. It breaks my heart to let go of this piece of my past, but I hope it brings the next owner as much joy and pride as it has brought me. Selling my "baby" is not easy, but I know it will continue to bring happiness to someone else.
