Description
1969 Mercedes Benz 300SEL 6. 3. This is a Euro 300 SEL 6. 3 with the high compression version of the M100 engine. It's a project car that's in need of cosmetic and mechanical restoration. I've owned it over 13 years and the title is in my name. The engine, trans and front subframe was also removed from another Euro 69 6. 3 that had rear end damage and is in excellent shape. Sub frame mount was replaced and radiator was re-cored.
Mileage shows 62136 KM which is 38835 Miles. The car does run and drive but cannot stay running for extended periods as the heater core leaks and the suspension is out of adjustment and will continue to raise.
The body is solid with minor dings and dents that can be corrected during a repaint. The only rust that's gone through is in the trunk where the well where spare wheel lives and it's opposite side. This is a common area for the W108 and W109 cars. The key only works in the ignition and the neutral safety switch for the transmission is not connected (It will start). Trunk lock has been removed.

As I mentioned, the heater core leaks so i can't leave it running for extended periods. I will take another running video before the auction closes so any buyer can see it running today.
The car is located in Denison, Texas, USA. I am happy to work with national or international buyers to arrange collection by a transport company of your choosing. This is a solid example of a very rare and special car will make a great starting place for a restoration.
