Description
A genuine built in the period authentic cafe racer. This motorcycle is a real time warp of a bike. The 1958 swinging arm frame houses a 650cc DA10R Super Rocket engine virtually the same spec as a Rocket Gold Star engine,.
The rest is pure mainly original cafe racer parts including Alloy petrol tank (believed to be a Lyta has a sticker on it ). Taylor Dow very rare bacon sliced front brake ring . Alloy 19" rims wheels just been rebuilt with stainless steel spokes and brand new tyres . Rear set footrests and clipon handlebars . Headlamp peak and stoneguard. Gold star chrome mudguards . Taylor hump seat. Chronometric Smiths rev counter and speedo both in working order.
Plus of course loads of extra chroming all still in good condition.
Electrics work and charging ok .
Engine starts easily and runs nicely . Gearbox good all gears present and correct.
4 spring Triumph clutch all good .
Overall condition very good two small battle scars on right hand side of petrol tank but hardly noticeable and bit of patina here and there but in general all in keeping with the bikes history and adds to its looks and appeal. Historic registered so no vehicle tax or Mot to pay.
