Description
1969 Ford Capri1300L in Silver Fox . This is one of the earliest surviving cars having been built in February 1969 just after the models launch at the Brussels Motor Show the previous month.
A rare opportunity to buy an unmodified early Ford Capri in one of the best colours, this car is very much a solid and usable classic.
Being an early production build, this car has a number of features unique to the first few months of Capri production.
This car gets lots of attention wherever it goes because of its looks and comes with the correct optional Rostyles which could be specified when new.
Currently kept in a dehumidified garage . Reason for sale: - Slimming down my collection. This Capri is a realistically priced, presentable and usable car which whilst not being concours by any means is one that can be used and shown or taken to the next level with minimal effort if that’s what you want.
I have owned this car for 3 years and in that time I have done numerous things to make it more reliable and presentable, whilst keeping its originality. This includes re-trimming the front seats (Aldridge) and the door cards as well as replacing the exhaust with a NOS exact pattern for the year. In addition I have has the head skimmed plus usual brakes, servicing etc. Starts on the button.
