Description
Cream-coloured body, red leather interior, new synchronised 5-speed + RM gearbox. The vehicle was first registered by Jaguar Cars New York. USA on 04. 09. 1962 then imported to Sweden with Swedish number plate BMH 994. arrived in Italy on 22. 09. 2016. In 2021 a total restoration was started and finished 2023. On 15. 02. 2023 ASI registration with Certif. of Historical Significance. On 03. 06. 2023 Homologation with Targa Oro at the highest level. On 01. 02. 2024 Registration for the first time in Italy with relative testing and Nationalisation. The E-TYPE was restored to Jaguar Heritage specifications reflecting the original colours and indications.
The complete restoration covered the vehicle in the bodywork entirely repainted keeping its original colour, the interior rebuilt using correct material and shape conforming to the original as per the Homologation Certificate, original engine totally rebuilt at Km 0, the MOSS 4-speed + RM gearbox has been replaced with a new 5-speed + RM synchronised gearbox (mod. Done by most E-TYPE owners). The braking system has been updated, the water and fuel pump replaced with complete restoration inside the fuel tank. The steering wheel was replaced with a 15-inch one instead of a 16-inch one for greater comfort. Chassis number, engine body number and gearbox number correct and matching the originals, the mechanics have been fully overhauled and WHEN necessary replaced. The E-TYPE IS PRACTICALLY NEW IN EXCELLENT COMPETITION CONDITION.
