I purchased this CB450SJ 1987 German Model restricted at the factory to 27BHP machine in late 2017 as a non runner without any documentation or history relating to previous ownership. Details from Honda UK confirmed the Model as Honda CB450SJ, Frame no PC17-3101179, Engine no PC17E-3101185, Year of Manufacture 14 October 1987, Factory Hamamatsu, Japan. I registered the bike with the DVLA on the 01/ 01/ 2018. The bike is completely standard and all original with some slight damage to the fuel tank, carb rebuild kits were all that was needed to get the bike running. It has recently been fitted with new Avon Road Riders and a new battery. MOT runs until 28/ 11/ 2025. All servicing carried out by me on an annual basis. Speed odometer changed from Km/ h reading 36, 290 (22, 681 ml) to MPH reading 25, 414 ml Total mileage to date 26, 332. Total mileage since 01/ 01/ 2018 3, 651. The bike was originally purchased for spares but was too good for breaking so I decided to get it going and register it with the DVLA, it was quite a drawn out process gathering all the information needed by the DVLA but I got there in the end. It is a very nice bike to ride, it handles extremely well and being quite light has a good turn of speed, do not be put off by its 27 BHP it is pretty quick.
