Description
Purchased from a well known classic Rover dealer in June 2022 it has had 11 owners that includes myself usual thing full of good intensions on getting it back on the road in its former glory or at the very least a nice looking car alas it never works out as life invariably gets in the way. I've spent a lot of money on it to get it running as it was dead when it arrived, lots of receipts to back it up.
Parts fitted:
A new battery, new Lockheed servo ( J Wearings ), new brake master cylinder, new rear brake cylinders and shoes, several copper brake pipes and also new flexi's, so brakes work fine. Carb service kits and full service so starts, stops, drives, gearbox works as it should.
Body condition reasonable usual rust holes in 4 doors all pillars are good, underneath looks ok as far as I can see sills are ok, front wings are rotted in usual places but a pair of good second hand replacements just need a bit of fettling are included. The rest of the body is just general prep work for painting.
Interior is ok needs feeding and some repairs but will do or just use it as a good source of spares, also the tool tray is present and I believe to be correct.
Loss of storage and health issues means I will never get around to it. With a bit of time invested they will have the vehicle Ministers favoured.
