Description
The car is in pristine condition. It will soon be 36 years old, and for its age, it's remarkably well-maintained. There is minimal surface rust on the undercarriage's moving parts. The chassis rails and wheel arches are completely solid and original. The absence of undercoating allows for a clear view of the car's original 1989 construction; nothing is concealed. There are no water leaks, and it has been kept in a garage since its arrival in the UK in 2008. Acquiring the perfect 1989 short-notes MX-5 took several months. Naturally, it had to be in classic su red, my preferred color. Manufactured in November 1989, it dates from approximately four months after production commenced. As the condition report indicates, the car is in exceptional shape, and I anticipate its value will double by the time it reaches 40 years of age. Originally from Tokyo, Japan, it was imported in 2008 by a woman who purchased it from a reputable importer. I subsequently bought it from a gentleman who had cherished it for over 12 years; both previous owners meticulously maintained it in a garage. During my three years of ownership, I've made several modifications, which may not appeal to everyone, but they were personal preferences. Importantly, I've retained all original parts, so the car can be put back its original state if the new owner decides. The car can be purchased as is. It will be a great loss for me and my family as we have had many years of enjoyment with this car especially me and my daughter who loves to go to shows in it but my situation has changed and unfortunately I'm losing my garage and I just cannot bear for it to be sat out in all weathers
