1984 1st Generation Mitsubishi Colt in great condition.
This is the only one in the UK and there have been no others registered here for over 10 years.
This car is a very impressive survivor running beautifully as a daily driver with a sweet engine (1. 2L) and feels great to drive. I bought it from a lovely couple in Malta who had it from new just to tinker around the island in, it has had a very easy life in the sun.
I Drove it back to the UK in October with no issues (some of the pictures show the car in Malta, Sicily and Switzerland) and the car is now registered here with all duties paid and a UK logbook ready to drive today.
Very cheap classic car insurance with European RAC cover.
It is MOT and tax exempt and held a current Maltese MOT to July 2025 when I purchased it.
I had the car serviced in Malta before leaving and the tracking centred here in the UK when it arrived. There are also recent servicing receipts from Malta showing among other new parts a water pump and belt change and although the receipts are not dated they appear recent.
Everything works on the car including the retro dashboard instruments, it can be driven away.
It’s a right hand drive being Maltese spec and has two sets of keys.
The spare wheel and kit are complete and judging by their appearance have never been used.
The very short list of minor imperfections are:
A small 20p coin sized dent above the nearside headlight.
Dent in rear bumper - fixable.
Would benefit from a valet.
Paint has grown tired with a few scratches here and there as you would expect from a 40 year old car.
The hot air will not blow but it gets warm enough while driving.
All in all a great little classic car crammed with character, extremely rare and ready to enjoy today.
