Superb 2006 Yamaha MT01 with nice upgrades. Rizoma rearsets cost a fortune, really comfy, Akrapovic Yamaha upgrade silencers, Renthal bars with stainless bar ends, LED Indicators and tail, fly screen, carbon extras and very subtle Yamaha MT03 rear mudguard and licence plate light instead of the huge original. Superb custom paint job. Braided brake lines. Nicely polished chainguard and decent mirrors you can actually see behind with. Not many miles since last service, long MoT, fsh, all keys and ready to enjoy. I have always had big bikes and a friend and fellow VMax fan bought one of these and said he was astounded at how good it was. I had wanted a Hesketh or a Vincent but have always loved big, diferent Yamahas. I test rode this bike and was instantly sold on the torque, the superb handling, brakes and that V twin roar. I also have the baffles if you are the sensitive type. I'm only selling as I have too many bikes and heading for my mid 60s and have old Brits I need to maintain and projects to finish. Most of my riding now is with the VMCC on classics and TRF green laning as that's what my friends are into. Therefore, I only use the big guns on my own now for a quick 40 odd miles blast around the local area, when the weather permits. However, I can honestly say this is one of the best and most fun bikes I've ever owned and a lot more reliable and better value than any Vincent or Hesketh. I have spent a lot of time turning an already great bike into the even better one it is now. Plus these engines are good for 100s of Ks, so as some of the owners groups say, it is just about run in, and oozes Yamaha quality.
