Originally a school bus just outside Sydney. Imported from Australia to the U. K. by the bus barn. Original semaphore/ ribbed bumpers/ centre brake light bus with rare and hard to find Barndoor through to 58 optional Hella Number plate light.
Extensive work throughout 2024 carried out by VWJim including returning to stock utilising a late big nut gearbox. Full overhaul of brakes and installation of VWJim servo, now brakes like a modern car.
Just completely rewired front to back by Iain Burns at Aircooled Auto Elec. New custom blade fuse upgrade with hazard lights and towing electrics integrated through semaphore control box.
Running 195/ 80 Hankook tyres on Wolfsburg West wheels (both new) and 2 spare wheels with matching tyres. Original VW commercial hub caps. Cruises at 60mph comfortably on later gearbox and is a pleasure to drive.

Retrimmed December 2024 by Madmatz in commercial grey ABS panels throughout with new flooring and additional carpet. The bus is also completely fitted out with Dynamat soundproofing and Insulation throughout.
1600DP with twin kadrons. 123 ignition. Full stainless exhaust. New fuel lines just fitted. VW aircooled works fire suppression system with fuel solenoid cut off.
If you wanted to go lower the front beam, although stock height, is adjustable. 1 inch tubs still fitted.
