Description
Possibly one of the best, unadulterated W460 G Wagons out there. This car has less than 20k miles after having been stored in a dry barn for over 20 years. The car received a commissioning in 2022 before I purchased it which included a new reconditioned engine, clutch and many other parts totalling £7527 (receipt copied). Since my ownership, I have replaced the windscreen wiper seals, blower motor, front hub bearings and seals and wheel bearings all round. I have also replaced the seals in the diff locks which are fully functional. The chassis is in excellent condition with no rust at all. The body is also is very good condition with zero rust showing on the seams. I have since applied lanoguard to keep it looking good. All five wheels have been refurbished and powdercoated making the car really standout. I have also fitted an aluminium roof rack which makes it practical as a classic work vehicle or day camper with roof tent option. All external steel work remains as is with aged patina, which personally, I think makes it stand out more than a re sprayed model. That said, if you wanted it resprayed then there would be minimal prep required. There was a small area under the rear boot lip that needed welding which has been done and re sprayed. There are some wrips in the vinyl fabric at the top of the rear seat and a small tear in the vinyl on the side of the drivers seat, but otherwise the interior trim is fantastic. In a few months the car will also reach classic age status, which means it will be ULEZ compliant, zero road tax and MOT exempt. I love classic cars so now looking to pass this car on to find my next project. Own a car that turns heads!
