A rare 3. 0ltr flat-6 Subaru conversion on a 1988 VW Caravelle GL - looked after and serviced for the last 4 years by the excellent Slaughter House Customs team.
Engine installation architecture by RJES; the 3ltr Subaru unit is a superb conversion (full service history to 73k miles); with upgraded running gear, brakes (T4 front and rear) and a smooth 5 speed gearbox this van is quick and sounds amazing.
Two captains seats up front and a full width rear seat (rock'n'roll bed, queen-size when down), a Waeco fridge and leisure battery (with completely new wiring) make up the camping essentials, and she has an electric hook-up for campsites.
SHC have added a power steering unit; lower spotlights and wiring loom, new SHC wing-mirrors, new wheels (Vito base; SHC made) and Michelin Agilis CrossClimate tyres all round, upgraded Kenwood stereo (6 new speakers installed), new fuel lines, two crank shafts, auto engine fire-extinguisher, under-seat remote control 2kw heater, reverse parking rear sensors, tinted windows and electric windows upgrade.
Central locking with two keys included.
SHC have proactively completed any body work needed and she has been serviced regularly with K & N filters fitted.
The SHC vents are new and are fully wired for a solar panel as well as outdoor charging and other needs.

The camping experience is fantastic; it's fully insulated and is so comfortable with a huge bed, remote control heater as well as a cold fridge for the essentials!
I bought it just over 4 years ago; and have upgraded and looked after it with Slaughter House Customs over this time. A Subaru specialist has also worked on the engine when needed.
