Description
FILM CAR. Recently used as the lead vehicle in a forthcoming major release.
Having undergone significant mechanical improvements recently this Stag sounds and drives fantastically. Reconditioned engine, new braking system, new steering rack, refurbished wheels and a new set of tyres - everything has been done to ensure this Triumph Stag performs as it should.
The wooden Mountney steering wheel adorns the walnut dash and black interior. All interior trim is very well presented.
Externally, the bodywork is in good order. The gold coach stripe was recently replaced (at the request of the film studio who unfortunately put two dents in the passenger side door whilst filming - this has been left as is and is reflected in the price for repair if desired - if not, it’s a talking point). I cannot publicise the name of the Actors that drove the car but if you are genuinely interested in this beautiful Stag that now has a film history I will share details with the next owner.
The car comes with a matching hard top (tinted glass) and is ready to be driven away. The car was dry stored for over ten years (please see MOT history and MOT pass for 2009). After recovering it, it was clear that the car needed a new engine, steering rack and recommissioning. This has been done by a Stag specialist with photos and receipts to evidence all jobs completed. A video of the engine running can be emailed to you (I cannot attach a video to the advert).
